The 2012 Calendar for annual free instruction program

The Product Labeling with barcodes course will ensure:

  • The certificate for level 1 GS1 certification. Proves to the retailers the presence in your company of a qualified person, concerning the correct codification with barcodes of promotions, collective packaging, pallets and consumer goods. It prevents incorrect labeling situations and certain losses caused by these.
  • The certificate for level 2 GS1 certification. Assures the retailers that your products have the barcodes printed according to the GS1 Technical Specification regarding colors, dimension and the position on the package, so that the cashier can find the barcode quickly and it can be read easily by the POS. It comes with an Analysis Rapport of the decodability of barcodes. This certificate can be obtained by personally bringing package testers, or by mailing the package.
  • Analysis Rapport of the decodability of barcodes. It shows the retailers the degree of decodability of your product’s barcodes at the POS. It is accompanied by checking rapports of each barcode, generated with the Integra 9500 Barcode Quality Station equipment. The correlation between the barcode and the existing GS1 Romania database information about the product is verified, in order to prevent the introduction of distinct products with the same barcode. It prevents loses caused by printing packages with unreadable or incorrect codified barcodes. It is recommended that this rapport should be solicitated before a new edition of packages is made.

With the help of its Solution Center, GS1 Romania also invites you to participate in courses of: Traceability and logistics, Data Quality and Alignment, RFID Applications in supply chains, GS1 XML standards for EDI.
